Ok, the plastic wrist to fist attachment is the bottom part of a squeeze ketchup bottle…I had some left over…I use these squeeze bottles to squeeze stuff onto other things (I know that is hugely specific), but they do come in handy…One even became a nest for a spider…Well, the spider sort of left a cocoon, a cottony thing, when it fell asleep in one of the bottles-it had crawled in the hole in the top triangle mouth part…
Anyways, I cut off both the bottom & top of the squeeze bottle, as well as cutting two separate holes in the body, so that the wrist strap of the glove could pull through…
This means that the wrist grab (the plastic sheath) will hold onto the person’s arm, as well as holding onto the glove, which holds within it the neodymium magnets & the prosthetic opposable fingers…Please see earlier posts for those diagrams & info…
In the meantime:
Today I put the second coat of Clear Coat overtop the “Spring” sculpture…Or just “Spring”…(The raccoon inspired thing, wildebeest)…Clear Coat is a spray aerosol type thing, something I don’t really approve of or use much of in my practice…But I was stuck when I begun with the moss…
The artificial moss is a dyed natural sponge type thing…It calls for some type of glue on the bottom & it also calls for Clear Coat on top to hold it in…Once I started with the moss I was beholden to use clear coat…
So with my goggles,my respirator with canisters, a baseball hat, an extra jacket with turtleneck-I ventured down to where I am working right now, turned the fan on to 8 hours on low, & proceeded to clear coat spray all the mossy bits on “Spring”…
Clear Coat sprays white, smells ok, & one bottle covered the whole of Spring, almost thrice…t was not expensive & I was able to buy it from our hardware store…I got the no VOC version, which is why I guess it smelled fine…
As a reminder: varnish or paint or turpentine headaches-treat with garlic(pancreas affected)…glue headaches(liver affected) treat with oxygen (like Goji berries, Milk thistle liquid or capsules, or dandelion greens (tea or straight chew)…
So clear coat is closer to varnish than to glue, so I have some garlic pills handy in one thousand strength…But I already have taken several of these garlic pills, because my sugar levels were a little high (garlic lowers blood sugar), so I am not going to take some more…
below: I removed the plastic & figured out a better way for the glove to hold to the wrist or arm…
Instead of the cut ketchup bottle as wrist grip, I made a copper strapping bracelet to size (about 7 inches perimeter), with a smaller piece of copper strapping with two 10-24 screws & bolts as catch…To remove the “bracelet” just unscrew a bolt…So in the picture you are seeing the inside of the glove, held by the tension of the screws sticking out into it…If you had a glove with eyelets at the bottom, you could actually screw the screws into the eyelets of the glove to attach the glove to your wrist…Then the glove is held to the screws, the screws are held to your wrist…Now, you can still coat your copper bracelet with Plasti-Dip since you probably have some left over, & this will keep the bracelet from digging…Not sure if I’m going to do this or not…
Also- magnets, I have learned, draw blood to an area…If you are having say a heart attack, the magnets, the neodymium magnets inside the glove, if applied to the heart area, will draw blood to that area, thereby sending a rescue mission…This makes “The Spare Hand” a portable defibrillator as well as prosthetic carrying device…The magnets will also help rescue any sore area that needs an onrush of military blood rescuers…Beware of people who have metal stents in their hearts or already have defibrillators inside their heart areas-magnets may screw that operation up so ask first before applying magnets…Magnets have proved especially helpful after eating a glutenous hot dog bun-appply the magnets before eating, then after eating, & the bun passes better through your heart system…Better yet, forego the bun! Resist, I say, resist!
p.s. or just leave the glove as is, & use the tension to hold the glove onto the wrist or arm…(ie: without eyelet holes cut into the glove)

I had a better idea…Put the wrist-hand grab (the cut up ketchup bottle tube plastic) into the glove rather than outside the glove…
It is now encapsulating the opposable magnetic fingers, the base (you can see the base of the fingers in black rubber plasti-dip at the bottom of the tube in the picture above)…
So now one can slide one’s stump into the plastic sheath & the plastic will grab & hug the stump, the inner perimeter of the sheath is around 7 inches btw…
The glove hides the whole thing…
You are kind of a Genious. I would say a Genie from the squeeze Bottle. You now me and I love you and your Work. Thanks for this new post. Love Hanno.
And that’s why direct mailing services are only really depression 5 year old used for direct mailing.
If you are planning to get into direct mailing, the envelope should have an attention-grabbing headline to entice the recipients into opening it.
This all sounds so suitable to be a success. Last but not the least, when you
use mailing services, aall they need to be certain about it before
you buy any a mailing list and your message. So the more control you have in terms
of the design.
