Well, another whole entire day of being frustrated with myself & doubting my own abilities…

Tutorial after tutorial as a Blender “Citizen” (Blender is free 3d animation software but if you “join” as a “Citizen” for about 10 dollars a month you get increased access to tutorials…)

So after a day of tears, I discovered something very, well, pretty darn important…

Ok, I went to the Blender App in iTunes & then downloaded that series to my iPhone…

For some reason I missed the point where they said I NEED A 3 BUTTON MOUSE TO USE BLENDER…

Aha…

My mouse is only ONE button…

Hence my problems…

Then I watched a tutorial on Youtube that explained how you can sort of get around not having a 3 button mouse…

AHA…

By then it was like suppertime, end of a long long day…

But I managed to get Blender working…Gosh…Finally!

(I mean in the middle of the day I downloaded a free trial of Cheetah3D to try that ’cause people said it was way easier than Blender…)

(but of course Cheetah looked not as exciting after having learned a few things about Blender…)

The very short bit at the top is my second try at working with Blender…

I finally got my mouse to work (sort of though I think I either will get a 3 button mouse or maybe use the pen from the Graphire4 tablet & pen I ordered slightly used on ebay & configure the pen to act like a 3 button mouse…I am told the pen might be the best choice actually)…

So maybe I am not as completely terrible at this…It was just I had the wrong mouse!

Oh Lord it was like trying to unscrew a screw with a hammer…

At the end of the day someone hands you a screwdriver & you’re like “omigosh that was easier!!!”… 🙂
