How to put a PayPal button on WordPress.com or in an email, like in a MailChimp mailing…
First you need the EMAIL version of the button code that PayPal spits out when you create your button…It comes out as a link…
(Make sure to click when making your PayPal button the “Save button at Paypal” choice in Step 2 of button creation…)
Then you need the IMAGE code for whatever button you want…I took the Make a Donation button code & used it below…
Then put that image in…The code…
Then in the Visual editor, not html or code editor, LINK that Image with the PayPal button link code you created in the create a button section of Paypal…
It works…Both on WordPress.com & if you send yourself an email…The only thing is you may have to click on “Load Images” for the Image of the button to show up…

Here is what the code looks like in WordPress.com if I put it in the Visual editor instead of the Text editor…
It also works in an email…(My email provider fastmail.fm has an html or Rich text setting choice-I’m guessing most do)…

Here is the button when I put it in the Text editor…(I hit “code” before adding any code in here)
