Dear RCMP, iTunes Canada deleted all my legally obtained music & movies…

Dear RCMP,

iTunes Canada deleted all my legally obtained music & movies from my
iPod touch when I upgraded my software…

This upgrade was theft by iTunes Canada…

All the songs & the movie were obtained legally…

They were given to me as a birthday gift from my brother, who
painstakingly shared them after hours of honest work from his own
private collection to give to me for my own personal use…

The iTunes upgrade purportedly stated that deleting anything not bought
on iTunes was or is legal…

That is not true…

Music or film that was not created on iTunes is not owned by iTunes &
iTunes does not have the right to delete content created by other record
producers…

The technology of the iPod touch does not give rights to the
intellectual property that is added to it…

It would be like saying the notes I write in a notebook are owned by the
notebook maker…

iTunes gave me no recompense for their theft & they continue to steal
from me & they think they are justified in doing so…

No money was given to me in return for their theft…

Sharing of music by family members on birthdays is not their domain…

They have infiltrated my privacy as well…

I am suing them now…
