I just use WordPress.com …It’s a no brainer, I get great traffic, they control spam well, I only upgraded to a paying account when I needed more space but their free account is wonderful…Must say WordPress.com is probably the best service I have ever used…Everyone else who visits seems to like it too…Why complicate things? This is so easy you can actually get work done! Cheers mate!
